Almost no other element within a landscape has as much instant appeal
as a water feature. We have found that by providing access to
water in all ways and at any scale, it is incredibly successful and
enjoyed. Whether it is a small tranquil pond, a fountain or
massive waterfall, they all have one thing in common, they are
inherently dynamic. Forever changing, they introduce sound,
can support fish, and provide dramatic ambiance.

When someone suggests interest in a water feature we determine
which type would be most appropriate for them. The presence of
children can dramatically influence the way the pond is designed.
We maximize safety by providing low walls around the pond and extremely
sure footing next to the water. We can limit access to the water
by placing large stones or plantings in an arrangement to direct people
to a particular viewing platform. We can also create a pond-less
waterfall.
Depending on the style of the house or building, A more formalistic
water feature may be more contextual than a pond. In this case we
can create a reflective pool or an ornate, cascading fountain.
Every project has its own unique set of parameters.
