Budgeting, Cost Estimating |
 A budget is developed early in the project so the design is
not only fantastically creative and idealistic but grounded in
financial reality. We recognize that the budget is as significant a
design parameter as the rest of the “wish list.” It is fun to
pretend that we have an unlimited budget but this is most often the
exception and not the rule.
Once we have a basic understanding of the project program and design we
will be able to develop a cost estimate. The cost estimate is
prepared by in house professionals that animalize how long the work
will take to perform, the cost of materials and the equipment
needed. Over the past 10 years we have developed a very
sophisticated method of estimating that helps us build our precision
with every estimate.
